Mm. Been a week since my last entry. Bad blogger.
Or rather busy person ?
Yes, I am finally done with my two assignments due last week. The one carrying 30% worth of final marks was a killer and finishing up the two assignments sums up my week.
As for the weekend, yes, I absolutely loved it. Was already busy on Saturday morning itself heading to Milano for some briefing, then it was shopping again which was pretty bad of me but I will make up for the amount spent. Then it was off to the Verve for donuts as high tea and guitar hero. Then home to shower and back to the Verve for a Selamat Hari Raya celebration, having some wonderful homecooked Malay food like NASI LEMAK and RENDANG ! and later that night went to Party World for karaoke, ending up in two different rooms as there were two groups of people that night, and then supper with Lisha and back to the Verve for some homework on YouTube.
Yes, homework on YouTube. You must be wondering what I am referring to. I was given the song list for praise and worship on Friday night and only knew 1 out of 5 songs. Hence, I had to listen up to the other 4 songs. Yeah, it was my second time playing for service yesterday and I honestly tell you I've never played so, uhm, what's the word, so powerful? well? before. It must have either been God's empowerment (highly likely) , Krispy Kreme for breakfast, my new Zildjian drumsticks or Juwita Suwito's presence.
Yes people ! Juwita Suwito was in Melbourne and I missed her performance because I got the dates wrong. I felt so gay when I found out -__- Anyways, she attended service yesterday morning and Nick being the worship leader mentioned the amount of higher pressure he had that morning due to the presense of Juwita. Man, I too got a little nervous but excited when I saw her sitting in the front row. Not to mention how the band and instruments were set on the ground and not on the stage that morning. Nevertheless, it was all good and again oddly, random people I did not know came up to me telling me how good I was *HAHA BRAGGER !
I never really thought I'd end up buying a pair of drumsticks here in Melbourne, or in fact, anywhere at all because I already have a pair in Ipoh which is sufficient for me as it's not like I'm a hardcore player but the sticks Qi Vin got me were a good investment after playing for yesterday's service. Let's see how far I go.
Coming up this week is one more assignment to go. A 3 day conference in the city. Foosball night on Thursday in the city. And then its my one week semester break. I should be heading off for another getaway mmm..
Kay, random pictures from the weekend:
Arieff's super cats. Can't remember what these cats are called but they cost a bomb and their coated with really nice fur. One looks like a leopard if you ask me. Paladdin and Fin.

"In 2004, Juwita was entrusted with the task of coaching the finalists of the inaugural 'Malaysian Idol', and continued to do so for the second season. In the following years, she guest coached on reality shows 'One in a Million' and 'Mentor'. She was also enlisted on the LG MyStarz mentoring team consisting of Malaysia's top musicians." Party world pics you ask? Nah I didn't take any although I should have. The first room we went to costs AUD700. That would be equivalent to about RM1960 for a night of karaoke?! (More expensive than going clubbing -__-) Mad I tell you. But it's meant to be for a minimum of 10people. The room was extra nice (duh), glass walls providing a pretty nice observatory view, huge tv screen, etc. The people in that room were M.I.C. (made in China) but the loaded ones. First time actually joining a group of them and the whole night all I could hear super Chinese mandarin all over the room. Ruong wuong shuong rwang. haha.
Okay typed quite a bit. I wonder who would read every word hahah at least I can look back on this post when I'm old next time and have nothing to do but reminisce my young days. rofl.
Wishing you all a pleasant week ahead.
