Okay back to the previous weekend, it was well spent, once again. I love being with my homies. It felt like highschool times again and I felt quite a bit of love and warmth while staying over Ling's crib over the weekend.
So it was a fantastic homecooked dinner by both my ex-classmates, Joanna and Ai Ling. Ling had this absolutely yummy beef casserole dish prepared. Soo yummy with beef carrots and even I never knew she could cook/prepare such dishes but I guess that's what happens to you when you've been living away from home for two years overseas. Its not the same when you're living away from home in KL though i.e. my case -___- cause in Malaysia, food is cheap and well,.. yea cheap. Plus I did not get to put my cooking skills to test (like I have any in the first place haha) due to Sunway Monash's Condo lame rules of banning cooking.
Okay enough about KL life, am in Melbourne at the moment so yea, Jo on the other hand prepared this fabulous *I can't remember the name of the fish* Fish with lemon wrapped in aluminium foil and stuff and she said its really easy to prepare but I think I'd screw up and not be able to prepare a FISH dish. Man dinner was good or what.
Plus after dinner, Ling being sucha sweet tooth (which is awesome cause I'm quite a sweet tooth myself haha), bought quite a bit of pastries and cakes, muffins and what not. Not to mention Ling's scrumptious brownies. OMG Ling I never knew you baked soooo well. Please pleaseee bake one for my birthday :D

Ling's casserole baking in the oven. It had celery (the only celery I actually enjoyed eating), carrots, potatoes and beef with some awesome gravy and all. Yumms.
Jo's fish dish ! Yea you can't really see the fish but its under that pile of lemons which tastes soo yummy with the gravy and all. Jo I still think you're fantastic for being able to cook FISH !

Ling baked these. Awesome choc brownies seriously theyre so good, the texture, tasting etc. I had four pieces hahahOh yeh, Ling and I made popcorn too. I couldn't believe how the corn actually pops from the corn -__- if that made any sense but it was really like a science project to me, watching the corn seed pop/inflate into popcorn with cooking oil under heat. Pretty cool and I was amazed, much. hahah Ling and I were like ooohh it works !
Corn seeds. (I'm not sure if they're special corn seeds for popcorn or not though)
Pour some oil into the pot, heat it up, pour the corn seeds in, and after a minute or two, the corn pops into popcorn ! And seriously the popcorn was flying everywhere in the pot hahaha, if not for the cover the kitchen would be a mess lol.
Voila, homemade popcorn !

It's funny how I actually remember how we were actually "good" friends back when we were babies in the toddlers' room during church service hahah and I do remember both of us running around on the tables in the conference room (it was the toddlers' room back then) and hahah its so funny but we kinda grew apart and then in highschool bonded again, and like what you were none other than my tablemate where we saw each other every freakin day hahaha
And yea, you're a great girl, true at heart, and keep it up.
